In the 2024 parliamentary elections, the National People’s Force has secured a majority of more than two-thirds by getting 6,863,186 votes.

It is a percentage of 61.56%.

Accordingly, the National People’s Party has secured 141 district seats and 18 seats from the national list and a total of 159 seats.

The total votes obtained by the Samagi Jana Balawega are 1,968,716 which is 17.66% as a percentage.

There, the party has won 35 district seats and 5 seats from the national list for a total of 40 seats.

Furthermore, Ilangei Tamil Arasu Katchi Party secured 257,813 votes which is 2.31% as a percentage.

The party won 8 seats.

The New Democratic Front won 5 seats with 500,835 votes.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has obtained 350,429 votes, which is 3.14% as a percentage.

That party has won 3 seats.
