The American Embassy says that the warning notice issued to avoid traveling to the Arugam Bay area has been lifted.
This was stated by the American Embassy in a statement issued today (Nov. 13).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a request to the Embassy yesterday (Nov. 12) to remove this warning notice.
The US Embassy in Sri Lanka said in a statement on October 23 that it had received credible information about a possible attack targeting several tourist sites in the Arugam Bay area.
